Coaching Tips
- Track the ball and stay on the balls of your feet for quick positioning.
- Maintain a relaxed grip and absorb impact for better control.
- Use a short, compact swing at waist height, finishing towards your target.
- Keep the racket face open for lift and avoid big shoulder swings.
Make it easier
- Allow a bounce between shots.
- Allow the ball to hit the walls.
Make it harder
- Middle player may volley to any edge player except the one who just returned.
- Compete against another team for most consecutive volleys or first to a set number.
Safety
Use the STEP framework—Space, Time, Equipment, and People—to adapt any activity to suit your players.
Always ensure enough space for safe participation, and that under-18s wear protective goggles.
